U District StreetFair
	The largest event produced by the Greater University District Chamber of Commerce is the annual University District StreetFair which takes place the 3rd weekend of May. This is the kick-off event for the festival season in Seattle attracting crowds of 50,000 people over the day event. The StreetFair is a free event with more than 300 booths of arts and crafts, community information, music and food, great for whole family.

AVEventure
	The other big event we produce is AVEventure 2010 which functions to welcome home new students at the University of Washington to their new neighborhood.

U District ARTWALK
	We also support the University District ArtWalk which occurs the 3rd Friday of each month when local businesses stay open from 6pm to 9pm to host receptions which open new monthly art exhibits.

U District Farmers Market
	The University District Farmers Market is Seattle's oldest and largest "farmers-only" neighborhood market offering a place for more than 50 Washington State farmers to sell their fresh produce and quality products each week. The U District Farmers Market is open every Saturday year-round, 9am to 2pm, at the corner of University Way & NE 50th, in the playground of the University Heights Center for the Community.
