Description:  UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS IS THE CANVAS. HEIGHTEN IS THE PAINTING - instead of hanging work on the walls, Hensley has envisioned all elements of the buildings' interior, from wood wainscoting and plaster walls to water fountains, signs, bulletin boards , light switches and vending machines as integral parts of the art, "heightened" in her pixilated collage style to call attention to them in a new way. 

Open house on Friday February 17th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitors may take a tour of the facilities, view the living art installation display and be a part of the collaborative piece. Wine & refreshments will be available. Event festivities will also include a Farmer’s Market during installations,  local and regional wine & light appetizers,  Live Jazz & Alternative Music & demonstrations of the artists' &  centers' activities.

Description: The band, Sound People Association will perform at the opening reception on February 17th from 5:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. Sound People Association showcases the musical talents of vocalists and musicians of the Blind Community. 

Vision Loss Connections (www.visionlossconnections.org) brings people together to explore the full use of the senses in developing new artistic techniques to create ART that is designed to be touched and explored by hand. Please Touch the ART  is our Motto! Utilizing a medley of tactile fabrication techniques, artists create art objects that delight all of the senses. 

Artist and Craftsman Supply kindly donates the use of Studio Space for the TACTILE ART Group organized by Vision Loss Connections.  The  TACTILE ART will be on Display till March 11th. 

This space is only open until 7:30 PM on Artwalk night.

Description: One of my goals is to create photographs that do not look like the traditional photograph. A technique I often use to achieve this special look is to take 3 or more images of the same scene, over exposing, underexposing then a normally exposure With computer software I then merge them into one image Further manipulation is done to create a look that is any thing but a photograph.
