David Pierre-Louis, LUCID Jazz Lounge
Born in Brooklyn, NY, and raised in Miami, David Pierre-Louis is a graduate of Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida. He made his way to the northwest in 2004 as district sales manager for Pepsi and later Coca Cola Corp. Four years later, Pierre-Louis used corporate layoffs as motivation to kickstart his dream, LUCID Jazz Lounge, in the heart of Seattle's University District. Using LUCID as a foundation, Pierre-Louis, has brought the University District a venue that brings together the community through various mediums of art by using jazz as the platform.
David has worked tirelessly for the last three years to produce the U District Jazz Walk in his "spare time". THANK YOU DAVID!
