ABOUT THE CHAMBER

The Greater University Chamber meets for lunch on the third Tuesday of each month. Speakers and topics relate to our relevant construction projects proposed by the City of Seattle, legislative issues affecting the small business community, social issues that impact the University District and more! Sometimes we just have FUN! It is a great opportunity to network, catch up on what is going on in the U District, and enjoy a great lunch provided by one of our local restaurants. Please call the Chamber office at 206-547-4417 for more information about the locations for our meetings.

The "U District Chamber" has provided community leadership and involvement for over 90 years in the University District. The Chamber is a membership organization not a department of the City. The Chamber is a not-for-profit community service organization which operates on membership dues and program administration revenues from the University District Service Fund and the U District Business Improvement Area. The Chamber seeks out areas within the community that need improvement, and uses the collective will of its members to ensure that these improvements are made.

By uniting business efforts, we work to create a community that is commercially, residentially, culturally and educationally attractive and magnetic.
