Kim Carney is a high-energy insomniac and an internet-addicted freelance graphic designer/illustrator. She is a principal owner of Miller Carney Miller Design Studio where she specializes in helping clients build and refine their websites with her partner, Rick Anderson and BYOB Website. In a past life, she was an editorial designer and illustrator for the Dallas Times Herald, the San Francisco Examiner and the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. She spent most of the past decade as an online news designer for MSNBC before venturing out on her own. She has a passion for photographing flowers and has published a quiet book she imagined while loving her garden with a camera.
Her favorite quote is "Flowers are the earth laughing” by Ralph Waldo Emerson.
You can find her blogging (since 2004) at Something and her photography on Flickr, Something To See. She is happily married to her soul mate and is blessed with the best son in the world.
